cptnspanky
So i went on vacation like i do every year, had my apex handling feedings and top off while i was gone everything was exactly the same as every other day. Ive always had a few little colonies of hydroids about the tank, and they never posed an issue before. While i was gone they expanded rapidly and are taking out my sps. Aside from removing rock, as that will be an extremely in depth process for my tank, im looking for a natural predator that will help me to get rid of these things. Anyone have any experience or knowledge of something?
Muttley000
Bummer. I don’t think I’ve ever read of a natural predator. I have a few in my 65 and am all ears if someone knows of a way.

crimsonvice
I have heard of people just using epoxy to cover them over. But in this case, I dont think that sounds like much of an option. Sorry man.
