New critter..

The first pic looks caleurpa racemosa.  It can be a very aggressive spreader.  I would remove it.  I didn't heed that warning early on, and have to pluck it and several other strains of caulerpa weekly in some of my tanks.  Some people use it in a fuge instead of cheato as it also grows quickly and takes up excess nutrients.  It is very pretty in my opinion, but just grows and spreads too quickly.

You are correct. Looked at MANY images of it. I agree with you. Its very cool looking. But I cant afford to let it take over. It went from not even visible to being that clump with the runner literally in a week. AMAZINGLY fast. Dunno why it laid dormant for so long. 11 months. Then BAM. Nothing has changed. Mother Nature is always full of surprises. LOL
