watdachuck
I think I'll rotate through them versus all at once.
watdachuck
So my initial analysis is the SPS have had the most immediate reaction when the Korallin Amino Acids are added. That being said, it was also the most concentrated formula and the most expensive. The 100ml bottle was $59.99 but only requires 1 drop per 25 gallons each day. The Sicce Hyperkoral was the most expensive relative to the dosing recommendation (1 drop per gallon!! 100ml for $34.99). I have not given this product the true test yet, because I am not inclined to count out 160 drops. Given I am searching for the best return on my investment based upon the corals reaction I will give it a go this week. The instructions also specific to add this product at night, so it might be more difficult to determine the true immediate results. All that being said, I will say these products seem to both out perform AcroPower which I have used for some time. This is by no means a controlled experiment so take that advice with a grain of salt I will likely continue to use all three methods for some time. The squirt bottle that came with the BRS Reef Chili has been awesome. I mix the Reef Chili with coral frenzy, and reef roads, and feed the corals after the amino acids are added and the polyps are fully extended. We'll see if there are dramatic differences over the next 4 weeks or so. I took base line photos of almost all the corals for comparison. watdachuck
So I finally have the MP60's installed but only one of them is being detected by my ReefLink. I sent a note to EcoTech but pretty frustrated given the cost of these puppies...
Muttley000
Yea those should be perfect out of the box. They will definitely take care of you though so the pain is only temporary! If it gets too frustrating just box them up and send them my way, no use in your weekend being ruined lol
watdachuck
Right on! I figured it out luckily. I factory reset both of the pumps before trying to add them through ReefLink. If anyone else ever has that problem, give it a go
watdachuck
I might need to do a water change to dirty this puppy up a bit lol A little concerned with how low nitrates are though...but dumping reef chili and heavy feedings haven't helped much. Muttley000
Amazing they aren’t going up. Maybe trim the light time in the fuge slightly?
watdachuck
I did add a Powder Blue Tang and a pair of Leopard Wrasses about a week ago. I think I'll leave it be until the next test. Hopefully more poop will help!

watdachuck
I purchased them through LivaAquaria. They are both about 1.5" long and I definitely gave them the royal 4 hour drip acclimation treatment. I have never lost a fish from LA before. The Powder Blue is about 3" and is doing very well also. Muttley000
The difference between the male and female of the leopard wrasse make them super cool additions! Can't wait to see them.
chiefs11
Cool looking fish (wrasses), what makes them expert?

My best guess on this one would be like many other difficult species in their adaptation to aquarium diets. I have noticed that this pair have been mostly uninterested in the foods I have been offering. Instead they spend all day picking off pods and other small critters in the rock work, much like a Mandarin.
watdachuck
These little guys do not like me with my phone. Normally they don't care but I had to take the photos from the opposite side of the tank. chiefs11, Joe and crimsonvice
