Levi
I made a replacement weir for a synergy overflow to allow a slightly lower water level and encapsulate the exposed magnets. This is a direct replacement for the 16" overflow. Upgraded magnets and fully encapsulated. Also has 1800gph instead of 1600gph while dropping the water level slightly to allow the use of wave makers. Muttley000
Nice work! How much did it lower the water level?
Levi
About 1/2" based on flow calculations and at the same flow, 1600gph, as the stock weir.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
Levi
42 slots as opposed to 40 and 3/8" lower on each slot. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

petr_patter
Thanks for the upgraded weir. It is working awesome! I was able to increase flow a fair amount and feel like this is what should have came with the overflow from the start. Great work! Levi
Thanks Petr_Patter and it was great to meet you today! Were you able to adjust the gate valve to increase the water level in the back chamber to reduce the sound level?
petr_patter
It was great to meet you as well. Yes I first opened it up and then turned up my Vectra L1 until it was somewhat quiet then I adjusted the gate valve The rest of the way. Worked great. petr_patter
I don't have a build thread but have taken pictures along the way that I might use to make a short Build thread in the near future. Levi
