Muttley000
I put this light over part of my big sump. I will say this light is a beast, and puts out the light as advertised! It has 2 setting, grow and bloom, and I have set it to grow. Got the club par meter and did a little testing. The par meter just reads the 3000 max reading until I get 8 to 10 inches away. At 18" (just at the water level for me currently) it reads about 800 par. Through another 16 inches of water on the floor of my sump I am still getting 250. I only had a small chunk of cheato that is very loosely packed and about the size of a golf ball. It is resting on the bottom and has turned dark green but is hard for me to tell if it is growing much yet. The other macros I put in there got fried, but are still alive. Overall very happy with the purchase, and looking forward to growing some greens in my sump with it!

Joe
Chaeto can get to much light too. But I am a firm believer in the red spectrum for growing macros.
Muttley000
It is pretty small, I'll happily give you some when you are ready

Interested to see where it goes too. Way more par than I would have guessed but the BRS videos weee pretty persuasive!
