Jesse
Shipping coral and fish typically means bags and rubber bands, but KoralSea is developing a reusable product, aptly called KoralSea Kanister, to simplify the process. The cost of materials for bags and rubber bands is minimal compared to these, but eliminating broken bags during shipment can be priceless in some ways, especially when the product promises to cut shipping losses by broken bags to nearly zero. Each Kanister has a screw base that is designed for KoralSea’s coral frag plugs in mind. Simple fill the container with water, screw on or attach the frag, then screw onto the Kontainer, invert and voila! Each Kontainer stacks on one another to minimize movement in a box and has a built-in seal to ensure it can handle the shift in air pressure when travelling on a plane. The design is patent pending and no word on general market availability or if this is just available to its livestock customers. https://reefbuilders.com/2017/11/22/koralseas-reusable-kan/

crimsonvice
Kind of a cool idea. Might be worth looking into for club tools to send coral between members.
