Looks good. Love the bike. Are you a cyclist?

Wife and I are both cyclists. We have several pieces in the room with bikes and think it is a great way to bring her interest into it and tie the room together (Big Lebowski reference for the day).

Nice. I mountain bike a lot during the summer, and picked up a road bike last spring. Took a nasty spill in the late summer, and have been prepping the road bike for this spring. Looking forward to some warmer days :D

Let there be life! Added starter fish of several Chromis over the weekend. Meet Jean, Henry and Dunant. All is well and I have enjoyed eating breakfast with these guys. I turn the twilight light on and let them wake up for breakfast with me. So many caves and sections of rock that I see them coming out of new area's every morning.

What did you end up doing for lighting?  Must feel awesome to have some corals in it!

Went with Kessil A360W as it was in stock. Also think the simple set up will be good for this newb. Using the Kessil Spectral Controller to set intensity and color spectrum is a simple % that I can ramp up in the morning and down in the evening. Pretty impressed with the shimmer so far as well.

Awesome to have some coral! Family coming over tonight to check it out before we go to the Wait, Wait, Don't tell me show. They are going to have to listen to me talk about it for several hours before we leave.

How long should I be running the protein skimmer? My bubbles don't seem as ugly as I have seen in @Muttley000 tank. Is this a sign that everything is good? I only run it for 1-2 hours per day. Can I relax or should I run it for several hours?

How much fish load do you have now. That looks like a nice foam head in the picture, maybe there just isn’t much to skim

I have 4 fish at the moment.

I'm guessing there is just not much to skim.  I think my skimmate is more diatoms because of the high silicates in my water over fish waste.  Do you have plenty of water movement to kick up detritus so your skimmer can catch it?

So I made an impulse purchase for this awesome Anemone. The colors are awesome and I don't have an abundance of coral for it to disturb. Also picked up a little clam. Need to get a photo in regular light to show it off a little better.

Is the coral beauty leaving your corals alone?  One of my favorite fish!
