  1. Hi Everyone, I decided to upgrade and I am selling my 24 gallon nanocube with a stand. Note two important things. The first is that I modified the tank so that it is no longer an all in one aquarium, it is now drilled on the back. I used a 10 gallon sump. Second the tank is actually cracked on the back. I made this crack while drilling, and "fixed" it by siliconing a piece of acrylic along the back of the aquarium. I had the tank setup for around 5 months and never had any leaks. PM me if you are interested. If it isn't gone by the end of the week I will probably place it in the trash. Also comes with the plumbing shown in pictures. Finally the overflows are made of ABS acrylic using an extremely thick nozzle. These overflows have been working for the 5 months the tank was setup and do not leak at all. Thank You, Cole Harlow
  2. I am interested in the sump, I could pick it up this weekend as I am located in Bluffton Ohio. Please PM me if it is still available
  3. Is this sump still available? I am in Bluffton Ohio and would be interested if you still have it
  4. Just to give everyone an update. I am just short of 40 responses it would be great if I could get all the way to 50. A few users have pointed out some issues with the survey, but they are small and should not have a large effect on the data, but to make the results easier to view and to include some of the brands I forgot in the original survey I have done the results in excel and they are included below. The first graph just tells how frequently people test various parameters, and the later tells what brands are used for testing various parameters. Thank You!
  5. Thank You everyone for the warm welcome! I am excited to be apart of this community I sure hope I can get my tank fully setup by then, it has been too long since I have gone to a frag swap!
  6. Thank You all for the help. If anyone hasn't responded already the survey is still open! If anyone wants to see some of the early responses follow this link https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/what-do-you-test-how-often-and-with-what-brand.729156/ . Have a great day! CMH
  7. Hi, everyone My name is Cole, I have been in the reefing hobby on and off for the past 7-10 years! I recently bought a 28 gallon bio-cube which I am in the process of setting up. I have everything running I just need to get fish and corals to go in it! I look forward to meeting and learning from everyone on this site! I will get a build thread started soon! Have a great day, Thank You, CMH
  8. Thank you for the help! The number of responses is quickly growing, but the more the merrier!
  9. Sorry for anyone who has seen this post three times now since it is on R2R, OhioReef, and now here, but I am trying to get a set number of responses to this survey for a class I am in at The Ohio State University! If you could take a couple minutes to fill out this survey I would really appreciate it! Below is the original post from R2R. Hi, everyone I am interested in learning about the tests people use for their reef tanks. Specifically I would like to know of the five parameters Calcium, Magnesium, Alkalinity, Phosphates, and Nitrates which you test for. I would also like to know how often you test each of these parameters and which brands you use to test them. To make answering these questions easy I created a simple 10 question survey on Survey Monkey. The survey should be very quick and will only take 1-2 minutes at most. The link is below https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NFF8MX5 The reason I chose the five parameters I did was that I wanted the survey to be brief and in past questions of the day on R2R I found that the five parameters listed were by far the most tested parameters in this hobby. If anyone has any comments on why they test at the frequency they do, and with the brands they do it would be greatly appreciated! More information is always helpful when making decisions! If for any reason the link is not working please let me know and I will fix it asap! I will also post the results from the survey to this page as screenshots so that everyone can benefit! Thank You, Have a great day
