  1. I am forced to reply to my own post. The fish up for free is a red finned shark not a red tailed shark. I must have gotten ahead of myself in wanting a redtailed instead of a redfinned shark.
  2. I feel like second class posting anything FW on here but I understand SW has more muchness than FW has. I have a 41/2-5inch red fin shark that I would give to a new home with someone with a seasoned 4 or 5 ft long tank. I have had him for four or five years and he is in excellent condition. I recently went from a 56gal column to a 4ft 120 and want raise a red tailed shark for a change. He is a normal red fined/redtailed shark but not overly aggressive. Put him in a long tank with suitable tankmates and he will be a showwinner in your tank. Call me at 4193091091 and bring your own bag.
  3. I have always been one to buy a much bigger than needed filter for my FW tanks. Does anyone have experience with the Eheim 600 Pro4? It is rated up to 160 gals. Will it be running full speed in a heavy planted FW 120 24/7 or should I go with the next model that is rated up to 185gal. and not have to run it on high all the time. I also tend to overstock the fish population in my tanks so I am worried in the long run the 600 may be overworked. The price difference between the 600 and 2078 is about 180 dollars which is why I am asking for advice. Thanks for any help.
