What will eat bristleworms?

coral banded shrimp. i think hawkfish do as well. A couple species of wrasses eat them. IMO  dont worry about bristle worms until they are larger. the smaller ones are very efficient members of a clean up crew. Fireworms are a different story

Arrow crabs might, but I think most opt for mechanical removal.  You can buy traps, but there's also some decent diy options out there.  Just google "diy bristle worm trap"

A few in a system is good, but too many can be a problem.  If you have a large population of worms (or majano nems for that matter), this is indication that you are overfeeding your tank, and there's enough excess food making it to the worms and nems instead of the fish.  Dial that waaaay back and you can starve out the population.

:t1233: Bristle worm growth is related to available food. My question is, did they grow that large in your system? And if so maybe you are over feeding?
