Jumping back in the water.

I had to use the metal braces because any other bracing would encroach on where the overflows will come out of the tank. @Muttley000I don’t want to brace the ends diagonally in case I do have to slide anything in from them eventually. I am going to skin it in the future but they will all be removable for full access to anything.

My knees have been absolutely killing me these last couple weeks so it’s slowed some of my progress down. That, and I had to do my beginning of the year yard work. I did however manage to pick up some equipment I picked up a used reef octopus prime 200 int skimmer at salty critter over the weekend. And last week I picked up some used gyres an ATO and some other goodies. A891F927-CC8D-4E82-B5E5-21866FB5CC29.thumb.jpeg.3dea7ad83b064c1741bb25d049d1e47e.jpeg3FF6085A-F498-4529-9D2D-83DD95CF8C70.thumb.jpeg.0769a4b866f9afd5e2808863cc9ad872.jpeg

So, I know I should be painting my stand but I’ve been wanting to get some rock cooking, but I had to hook up my RODI system. I don’t like to half ass things when I’m building so here is my almost completed RODI / mixing station. I still have to run an outlet and run a water line and put my float into the tank then I’ll be ready to go. And I have one more waterproof panel to lay down under the tank.

I’m spoiled on that part. I have around 1200  sqf of finished basement. I have a theater room, laundry room, bathroom, a bedroom, wife’s craft room, and what was going to be my entertainment/pool table room is becoming my fish room. I still have space to put a pool table/bar if I want to. But not sure if I want pool balls that close to a 180 glass tank. I could actually put the tank in a different spot but I would have more battles with ceiling vents than I have now.
