Joe
Anyone ever have a feather duster worm loose its feathers? I can feel the worm in the tube, so I believe it to still be alive. But now sure why it’s head popped off.
Muttley000
I've read about it. If I remeber right it's possible but not that common for them to succesfully grow a replacement. Keep us posted. Joe
jeff70
I've never had one survive but it is possible. good luck
JMM
Had a couple do it over the years. Had at least one maybe two regrow the crown. They are very tough to keep alive. Joe
Travis
In my old tank I had a coco worm that would shed its crown and regrow it every 4-6months. I've read this is really uncommon but i never had an issue with mine. Its actually the one in my profile pic! Joe
Joe
It’s still alive. The end of its tube is now closed up. So I’ll have to watch it closely. Travis and jeff70
Joe
Noticed last night that he has regrown his crown already. It’s not as long as it was. But looks pretty good. Travis
