Sevitz5
Well it arrived at the LFS today. 180 Marineland, I am having it drilled for my Synergy reef Shadow Overflow before I bring it home. I will be building my stand this weekend. jeff70 and Dr.Fraggenstien
Joe
Love the 180. Wish I had room for another. Sevitz5
buk
Congrats. You're going to love the overflow. Mine is silent. Sevitz5

Sevitz5
Some progress in the “sump closet”. I hope I’m not gonna regret putting my sump in a closet behind the wall. Joe
Jesse
Following! This looks exciting. Sevitz5
Joe
I like it. The only thing I could see being an issue is moisture build up. But that would be easily fixed with an exhaust fan or simply leave the door open at times. Sevitz5
Mrbh22
I would put the sump on 2x4s at least to get it off the floor so you can siphon out detritus if need be.

Yea, I think I am going to build a stand to put it on to get it up off the floor. On a side note, I started building the tank stand today. I’m trying to figure out the spacing for my doors. JMM
You’ll fill it up in no time. Are you going to increase your fish population? If you need any plumbing elbows etc... let me know. I have a lot of extra from my system build.

I will probably be adding a few more tangs.

Sevitz5
I decided today to get rid of the carpet in the fish closet, so I went and got vinyl planking due to it being water proof. I had a helper lol
Sevitz5
Here is a pic of my current tank that I will be moving over to the 180 crimsonvice
Jon Fishman
I would get rubber interlocking floor tiles for like garages etc and put it on top. That vinyl plank flooring bubbles up between each seem if water is on it Sevitz5
Sevitz5
Trying to lay things out in the closet. I kinda like this layout, but need to raise the frag tank higher to allow the overflow to drain back into the sump. The last picture is of the stand I plan on building to hold everything. buk
Looking good so far. I'm interested to see how you like the Trigger Systems sump once you get everything going. Do you see any down sides as of yet?
Sevitz5
Just now, buk said: Looking good so far. I'm interested to see how you like the Trigger Systems sump once you get everything going. Do you see any down sides as of yet? I did ALOT of reading up on sumps, there are quite a few that are just plain over priced. The trigger sump has all the features I wanted at a good price point...especially if you pick one up used. The only thing people are saying is the filter socks are tricky to remove, but I’m using filter cups so I’m not too concerned.

They seem pretty nice. Keep up the good work on the build Sevitz5
Sevitz5
Got a little further on the stand today, plywood installed and skin on it. Kissy need to add trim and doors. I also started on a stand for my sump and frag tank. I need to build this one in 2 pieces to get in the closet.
