IM 25g Lagoon

Just wanted to start a little something to try and maybe better help document the tanks progress now that things are more settle since it's recent move.

Tank: Innovative Marine 25g Lagoon

Light: Radion xr15pro gen 3

Circulation: IceCap Gyre 1k and Hydro Nano240, stock return pump

Skimmer: Reef Glass Nano Skimmer

Dosing: BRS dosing pumps, currently dosing ESV B-ionic 2 part

It's been exactly one month since I moved the tank and got it setup back up. Everything is looking much happier, parameters are staying stable, and everything seems to be settling in well.

I plan to clean things up a bit, remove, the mass amount of Xenia infested everything, and possibly rescape to allow some more space. I want to add more SPS over the next few months and try to start some nice colonies. Planning on heading down to the expo next weekend to see what goodies I can grab.

Think I'm a little over loaded on frags after the frag swap this weekend...and my WWC Coral Club subscription.

Shoutout to @crimsonvice for the awesome Gatorade and twizzler zoas...and the PC rainbow and forest fire digi frags. Nice meeting you and thanks for taking the time to chat a bit.

Also was able to grab a few other nice pieces, some nice size rasta, alpha Omega, and utter chaos, jack-o'-lantern lepto, and two big pieces of wwc yellow tips and miyagi tort

@Dr.Fraggenstien nice meeting you too! Sorry I didn't know that was you i got those pieces from. Both are looking good so far. I'll definitely update.

Got a little outta of hand last night during my water change. Moved one rock to try and remove some algae... pulled another out to remove some Xenia...next think I know, rescaped the entire tank. Hopefully things stay happy.

Not really much going on...things continue to look going and do well. Anemones continue to get big. Actually got one removed from the rock work and into a glass cup I have on the glass to free up some space.

Tank has turned into more of a holding tank now that I have plans underway and started for a new setup. Updates on that soon.

Most recent pic of the tank I have

Looks really nice but you can't tease us like that lol. Let's see a thread on this upgrade!

Thanks guys!

No worries...once I get going with the start of this upgrade I'll start something. If things go as planned I'll be starting the stand this week and picking up the tank next week since I didn't have time over the weekend due to holiday travels. Stay tuned!

Just wanted to share an update that makes to happy to see.

So going back to Black Friday, I picked up a few pieces from a local shop around Pittsburgh during their. $5 frags.

I picked up this frag of Vivid Rainbow Delight

Took a little time but colored up better and finished encrusting the plug. January 19th, I placed it on a frag tile

And this was as of last night...about 10 after placing on the title it has been encrusting very well. Very encouraging and I can't wait to see this hopefully take off

Nice! That is a frag that takes forever to color up, but when it does it is well worth the wait. I have a piece that has encrusted over a decently large rock, but isn't looking that great at the moment.

Thanks I will keep that in mind!

The PC Rainbow I got from you there to the right is starting to spread out on the rack so I think I'm going to place it on a tile as well. I'm hoping if it can encrust more that it'll start growing up and branching out

Couple more weeks. Cycling is coming to an end but Id rather wait a little after just to give it the extra time. I will probably add a new few fish and get them settled in before moving everything from the 25g over to the 80g. I have some Kenya tree and zoa's I'll use at test pieces to make sure those do ok before moving everything.
