That's a store I still haven't got to hit.  What all did they have!

A little bit of everything considering it’s packed in a small space.I picked up a fruity pebble monti as well I’ll get pictures of. It was the only store I went to in Fort Wayne that I purchased anything.

He’s done very well since I got her from gebers. As for prepared foods I’ve never seen him go after them but he’s gotta be eating more than pods.

full tank shot. Still haven’t mastered this one on the phone camera. I can get amazing pictures if I put the entire phone in the tank though. The light shimmer throws it way off balance

Switched up to running a 200 watt brs titanium heater as my main heat source. The cobalts are great but their customer service sucks. My backup cobalt heater was throwing stay voltage into the tank. Luckly it hardly ever came on. Maybe once or twice a week. It took me over 3 weeks to get them to send a replacement heater under warranty.

So my other 200 watt cobalt will be used as the backup with the BRS heater as the primary. This allows for more levels of safety.

Heater main: 78.4 -+ 0.3 degrees. Controlled by heater controller probe

heater controller controlled at my apex at on at 77.4 and off at 79.4. Controlled by apex probe 1

heater backup controlled by apex and apex probe 1. On at 77.8 and off at 78.0

A second apex probe is also reading out temperatures with alarms in case of the first probe failing.

The brs heater controller (inkbird) is a little funky for the first day. You can calibrate the temperature of the probe which I should have waited to do until after 24hr. It would swing about half a degree from the apex and hanna probe. It’s finally starting to match both so the temperature is evening out a little more.

relocated the auto feeder to the sump along with a maxi jet 1600. The auto feeder will feed reefroids and TDO small pellets once a day. The maxi jet will keep the return section stirred up so no food can settle.

installed some wyze cameras so I can watch the tank when away from the house.

I’m not 100% sold yet. The temperature probe is always out of calibration even after a day.

ive been on a mission lately to keep my nitrates lower. I read a way to use a Hanna checker to read nitrates with the combination of other test kits. I had the phosphorus checker and got a used phosphate checker this week. Here’s the results:

Salifert: 10ppm

Redsea: 10ppm

hanna: 11.9 ppm
