Jon Fishman
So, I finally looked, and it looks like 5 of my vortechs have wireless and one doesn’t. Seems like a WXM is a good buy. How hard is it to setup, and what benefits will it have? Are there “programs” or does it just let me adjust and turn them on/off for feeding etc without turning knobs and hitting buttons manually? I admit, the different color lights etc for reef-flow mode or whatever is kinda confusing
Muttley000
So you will make profiles for them. Basically points on a graph that you move around as time and percentage. Very basic once you get the hang of it. If you visit the Neptune support forum there is tons of info. Several here have done it to. I use a WXM to control my radions, it is very intuitive. Muttley000
You can drag the dots on the graph or enter them manually. You can add or subtract dots too. Edited October 15, 2019 by Muttley000 Fix typo
Biecacka
Super easy to set up. I add drops to mine so I can make the flow even more random. I do enjoy the WXM and it’s ease for sure. corey
AndrewSPS
Only took me a minute to connect mine. Just use the get started page on Neptune’s sites. I keep my vortechs on reef crest but you can adjust the power percentage at whatever time point you want
Jon Fishman
Cable I have isn’t the right one. I ordered another
Jon Fishman
About to scrap the whole system. My ATO isn’t programmed again, my EB8 does nothing..... I’m just too technologically inept to use this thing
Muttley000
Spend some time with the Neptune support forum. They will be able to tell if you need actual tech support or are missing something
Fishoutofwater
Time to just make the switch from the plastic toy controller to an actual good controller. https://www.aquariumcomputer.com/usa/store/ Biecacka

Rocsec1
Well worth it. I have 4 VorTechs and 3 radions controlled through apex/wmx/fusion. Makes life much easier. Joe
Jon Fishman
Apex support fixed my issues. It wasn’t even my fault. Still waiting to find time to set up my powerheads on it though. Heck, I still manually turn my lights on/off

But you shouldn’t be turning on you lights manually like a cave man. Lol.

I left my blinds open yesterday and forgot to turn on the lights before I left...... it was a “cloudy” day I guess!
