Muttley000
So a little more work has become necessary. Ran to the lumber yard after more plywood and got a base put together for a stand! Got most of it rough cut out tonight and hopefully will see a lot of it go together tomorrow. Muttley000
So one of the things I like to do when using plywood for furniture pieces is make sure edges that are likely to show wear over time have real wood edging. Kids and pets tend to bump into things and plywood edges are brittle. So I got those added to where the front corners will be and as Norm used to say... “now for a little assembly” Joe and AspiringLobophyllia

Muttley000
Main case assembled! Next step is fastening it to the base. Bracing, trim, and hanging doors after that. Will try to sneak in a little time for that tomorrow! jeff70 and Joe

Muttley000
Thanks! I believe this would look best painted given where it is going, but like everything that is an opinion! My wife has a definite opinion about my opinion lol. She says if she ever needs decorating advice for a seventies retro project I'm hired haha.
