Joe
Spent all day trying to get my GHL controller hooked up. I got it updated and it works fine via usb cable. But I can not get it to functions through wifi. The controller itself is connected to wifi. The green light is on. But I cannot connect it to the app. Nor can I connect it to control center on the pc. AttAched are some pics of what I get when trying to connect wirelessly. I have 2 networks in my house and I can’t get it to work on either. I am done messing with it today. Maybe work on it again next weekend. Fishoutofwater
Look up Ghl WiFi update. It’s on the download page. And watch the YouTube tutorial for it. Need WiFi firmware 7081 I had the same issue. So don’t feel bad. Once you get through the updates and get situated it’s awesome. I promise. GHL
Hi there, You said the green light was ON originally. In that case, there was no need to do anything further. No WiFi module updates were necessary. Not being able to connect using GCC is likely due to your windows firewall preventing GCC from accessing your controller through the network. If you try to connect over the app using the IP address YOU or your network assigned, you will be able to connect. If you continue to have trouble with this, please use one of our official support channels: Support forum Ticket system Joe
Joe
Gotta love tech. Lol. A life saver most of the time. But a pain the rest of the time. Thanks @GHL. That helps a lot. I am finally connected. And I have MyGHL connected as well. So now to get some probes wet.

Fishoutofwater
Just don’t put any complaints or customer service issues on the forum. They will snap back and tell you to call service. A lot can be found there just have to look a little sometimes. Joe
Joe
Going through the manual got me thinking. I wonder if there’s a way to hack my black boxes to be controlled by the P4?

I wonder if there’s a way to hack my black boxes to be controlled by the P4? There is a way to do it with Apex so I am sure there is a way to do it out there with this controller. Let us know what you find!
Fishoutofwater
If you can get it to be controlled by 0-10v. Then you can buy the s-port/L-port box for $30. And run it.

crimsonvice
I would love to see that done. You should do it, and I will follow. Joe
