Mike A
Hey all. My name is Mike Anderson. I am a newbie. I have been studying and trying to learn about saltwater for about 4 months. I built my RODI water unit first and then got a couple quarantine tanks and a few fish. I recently purchased a used Red Sea 250 that I am close to getting wet. I am really enjoying everything about this hobby so far except for the aquascape. I am not artistic at all. Thankfully that part is done. I hope it looks ok. Looking forward to learning and exploring new fish and corals. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Jesse
Welcome to the forum Mike. You might be the first person ever in the hobby to start with RO/DI, and quarantine systems before your display. Awesome job on your part. i think the rockscape looks great as well.

Muttley000
Wow super nice looking set up. You have been doing your research and putting it to practice. I like the aqua scape also. Are you leaving it bare bottom? What are planning for circulation?

AspiringLobophyllia
Can’t wait to see this develop, aside from a beautiful setup that is also the most organized basement I’ve ever seen. I stared at your mixing station for a long time before I figured it out, is there a bulkhead in the bottom of your RO/DI bucket? Genius idea

Nanoreef13
Welcome! Your setup looks awesome! Just a tip if you haven’t already, once you do finalize your aquascape I would secure them together so they don’t move on you. Looks great so far and definitely jealous of the mixing station.
