Nanoreef13
As many of you know this is the tank that was donated to Wyatt after he had two strokes on Easter. After 20 days in the hospital, a surgery, 5 CT scans, 4 MRIs, 5 days in ICU and countless hours of therapy and a year to go he has been doing well and is walking, talking and playing at about 50% of how he was before. He has a long road ahead of him but this tank is his to put what he wants in it (within reason lol). He loves tanks and has been very excited to get this tank up and running! Here are the details. Tank details: 30 Gallon Frag tank set up as shallow reef Lighting- AI Prime HD Circulation pump- MP40WQD Return- Jeabo 8000 Skimmer- Bubble Magus Curve 5 20 lbs of Caribsea Life rock 30 lbs of Caribsea livesand I believe that the plan is to do anemones with a few easy corals. Clownfish and maybe a goby or two. I will add more pictures as the tank clears up! jeff70

Nanoreef13
Well I went and picked up Wyatts first additions! A large green long tip anemone and a mated pair of true percula clowns. From what I was told they lay eggs every 2-3 weeks. We shall see haha music
Nanoreef13
Ok so I knew when I saw this anemone that it was big but I didn’t realize it was this big till this morning when Wyatt yelled “Dad the anemone is HUGE!” I came in and this is what I saw lol that is an MP40 next to it not an MP10 haha music

Nanoreef13
Yea the anemone is absolutely huge! The clown fish love it though! I picked up some corals today thanks to @Dr.Fraggenstien! They are in my tank for now till Wyatts tank is ready for them. I need to put some more rocks in the tank. I didn’t realize how much space the anemone would take up haha music
Nanoreef13
An update on wyatts tank! Everything is doing well but the clowns have not laid eggs yet. We added some corals and those seem to be doing well. We also added a rainbow bubble tip anemone.
Muttley000
Looks great. Sometimes it takes quite a while for eggs to start coming. I’ve had pairs decide to stop for years at a time and restart also. Which I knew what triggered it. Just feed them well and it will happen. Nanoreef13

Nanoreef13
I honestly can’t believe how large this anemone is getting!!! I don’t understand why it hasn’t split!! It’s getting better color. Purple and green. I’d say it’s about the size of a basketball! music
