Muttley000
So someone you may all know asked me to build a combination shelf and dog bedding box for on theIt porch. He wanted to be able to open the dog compartment for cleaning it out easily. He will paint it himself, add the dog flap, and wrap some cedar around the base and top for some trim. I’ll let him decide if he wants to show the before picture. I hope he will share the after here as well. This is what’s great about having something custom built, what ever idea you have, and whatever dimensions you would like are possible! crimsonvice and cptnspanky
Joe
That’s a nice piece! I’m sure he’ll share pics of the finished project. Muttley000
Joe
My favorite part about the whole piece. Hopefully going to be able to finish it this weekend. If I don’t have to work. Muttley000 and crimsonvice

Joe
2nd coat is on. This thing is a bear to paint. All the shelves. Whose idea was this anyway? Also went a little custom on the doggy door. Muttley000

I have some 120 year old barn floor left over from my bathroom I think I’m going to use for trim instead of cedar. But I haven’t made up my mind yet
Joe
Didn’t like how the barn wood would have turned out once I got to looking at it more. So went with cedar. Here’s the finished product. Going to let it sit and cure until Wednesday. That’s when the new dog bed will be here anyway. will post pics of it in place and in use later this week.
