Birdman
Thought a 120 would fit. I was wrong. Just picked up my new Marineland 75 corner overflow tank with a matching Marineland stand. I’m very very excited to get this started. I have 100 pounds of rock. Gonna start with rock first, get all the equipment setup so when I add water. I’ll have to plug in 1 switch. Might be a few days before I get water in maybe even a week. Wanna do it right this time and not be in a rush to compete setup. Never been good at aqua scaping. Imma give it a try this time and take my sweet ole time euphylin me

Birdman
Mounted my GFIs to the back. These are heavy duty. Total of 18 plugs. Plus I get 2 bonus USB ports on them lol. Never use them. But hey it’s there. I’m OCD when it comes to cords. They have to be perfect and not visibly seen in r in the way of anything.
Muttley000
Those do look heavy duty! Looking forward to seeing it come together!

I was never happy with rock stack. And the size. Due to having lack of space. This one is gonna be perfect.
Birdman
Introducing the RedFlex Reef 100. By far the coolest sump I’ve ever seen. Starting from the intake. There is a silence tube that prevents the sound of water trickle being heard. Adjustable water level baffles. Probe holders, cord holder/organizer. A heater holder. 4 part doser tube. Finally above the return pump is a hose holder and a cord holder to help hold them both in there place. Coolest thing I’ve ever seen music

Birdman
Well I suck at this. But I actually like it. I have a bottom, middle, and top layer for coral placement. Tons of gaps and caves for water flow to pass through and hiding places for fish. Only had to glue 1 rock. I’m extremely happy. Any thoughts? Be honest

Just asking for a friend? good luck in life I actually still have the corals you gave me FYI. I didn’t get rid of all of them. Just the pieces that was worth the most. The rest is in my QT under halides. Cause I’ve never ran copper thru it. Thanks tho.
Birdman
Got it wet today. Running hard plumbing to sump. Mag 5 return. Had to upgrade to a 300 watt heater. Got my ATO installed. Had several issues with return pump hose where it connects to the bottom of overflow on the tank. Finally fixed it.
Birdman
I will get a standard background to prevent a few cord seeing’s.

The level keeps rising and lower frequently. When it lowers. Making a annoying sound. I’ve tried to drain it. Refill it. Can’t seem to figure it out
Muttley000
That sounds like you are creating a siphon occasionally until it catches up and sucks air. Try trimming down the flow out of the return pump and see what happens, although I would expect that overflow to handle everything a mag 5 produced

Birdman
Kinda weird. But my tank is cycled. Not gonna list how I cycled it due to some people being against my methods. But I’ve checked for days. It is showing cycled.
