SARMedic119
Hello All. I am new to the group. I am very interested in a Salt Water Aquarium. I hope to have one setup after the Holidays. I have had several things take place that took a toll on my funds. I am using the aquarium as a coping tool. I plan on using the setup as a coping mechanism. This year has been tough working during COVID. It has also taken a toll on my PTSD. I am 9/11 Responder and was at Ground Zero. I am interested in 50 gallons or less due to space issues. I love the various options out there. It has allowed me to do a lot of research. Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I recently helped two families from Aquarium fund so they could have a Christmas, I plan on asking many questions.... Happy Holidays. AndrewSPS
Welcome! You can’t go wrong with a planet aquarium tank. I went the budget route and got a SC Aquarium. I do believe they make a 50 gallon cube or similar

SARMedic119
A lady offer this to me for 500. Here is what she sent me. Any thoughts.... I have an all in one (AIO) 45 gallon tank all set up and running. I have everything you need. I will include fish, anemones, rock, heater...everything! Salt, food. Stand, light, you name it. All for $500. I've probably got $1500 or more in it. Family is no longer interested. You just have to come get it. The livestock are a Domino clown, a royal gramma (purple and yellow), yellow tang, lawnmower blenny, there is a peppermint shrimp in there somewhere, several hermit crabs and some snails

I would almost see if you could find someone or a store that would buy the livestock, unless they are fish/coral you would like. The tank is a little small for a yellow Tang, but I am not calling the Tang police. You would definitely need to replace the sand. Pulsing xenia is a cool Coral, but does take over easy. Otherwise not a bad deal.
