Muttley000
Link! Anyone had a look or trying this? Looks very interesting and sounds like the initial response out there is good, especially from people with largish systems. I would need another DOS to get set up doh! crimsonvice
Seems like a good option. Especially since you are getting all three for $25-35.
Joe
Never tried this. But looks interesting. But not sure how different these are vs 2 part.

This seems to be very similar to the balling method from Europe

Muttley000
Adding the traces lets you stretch time between water changes if you are exporting nutrients otherwise

Muttley000
Pulled the trigger today. Marine Depot has a special for January where if you buy one of the mail in tests you get the larger size of chemicals for half off. Still deciding how I am going to start dosing it. Don’t want to spend $300 on a second DŌS...
Muttley000
So update to this I got another dos and it will be online as soon as a cable comes (looks like Tuesday). I am sending my first test out. They give you 3 vials. You register on their web site and mail them in. One bottle of RODI and the others filled with tank water. Curious if that is the way the other mail in testing places work?? It can take a couple of weeks, but I still need to get some containers and such so no big deal. Anxiously awaiting the results now! I have done the Triton lab tests and you only send two vials of tank water, no RODI. I am not sure of the Aqua Medic Test... Maybe @watdachuck can fill us in. Cant wait to see what info you get back! watdachuck
AquaMedic is only two vials and no RODI. I'll upload how the results are presented as well. They provide the results in graph form and list for tracking over time which is neat. crimsonvice

watdachuck
AquaMedic is $47 for one test, but I buy the 12 pack bundle for $350 ($29/test). They have other bundle options as well. http://aquamedicwatertesting.com/shop/ Here is an example of one of the graphs they supply to track all your tests. Muttley000
Ordered 5 gallon containers rigid tubing and 1/4" push to connect bulkheads to get my dosing containers set up. All should be here Tuesday and then I can get my DOS pumps calibrated and be ready to go! Should get my initial ATI test back around the end of the week too so finally can get started. I have determined based on my alk usage in a week that I will only need to start with 9.6 ml per day, so I will start there and see where I go. crimsonvice
Looks like a nice little setup. I might need to grab some of those containers myself.
