Flounder
Found my first hitchhiker and think it is a fire worm. About 2 inches of visible worm with flat red body and white bristles coming off. Destroy?
Muttley000
Some get rid of them, I always have a few around my system. If they get huge they can be aproblem, but when small are cleaner uppers. You could aways put it in the sump too Flounder
Joe
I kill them all. A few turned into a thousand in a 40g I once had. But like muttley said, it’s really up to you.
crimsonvice
I dont mess with them too much. They are there and can do good as part of your CUC. Like Joe said, they can get out of hand if not kept in check. Usually you will get a huge influx if you are feeding too much, which can be easily remedied. I have a melanurus wrasse that I see pick them off all the time. He is a great little hunter.
Clint526
I had a huge problem with em, I didn’t mind em but then they got way out of control fast. Got a coral banded shrimp and that was the end of that. Lol Flounder
